About Julia Poliushkina
I would like to introduce myself to everyone! My name is Julia and I am the very proud owner and operator of Julia Poliushkina Studio. I am originally from Belarus and yes, I have an accent! It is part of who I am and I can’t get rid of it. I moved to New York in 2017 and honestly, I consider this – my home.
My passion for permanent cosmetics started very young when I first picked up a brow pencil and started drawing my brows and softly filling them in.
I then thought that it would be nice to have great-looking eyebrows all the time and not have to put in the time or effort for it! And since not every woman has the time and patience to do that, I decided to follow my dream and get acquainted with the permanent makeup industry.
I decided to start with a technique called Soft Powder Shading since this is the most popular techniques and the most natural looking.
Education
I chose the best training course at Alla Romazanova School in Europe, considered the most prestigious place to get educated on Permanent Makeup! There, I learned the precise calculation of the ideal shape of your eyebrows and how to create the most beautiful and natural-looking brows.
After getting my certification, I decided to continue with my education, because, in the beauty industry, you cannot stop learning!
I wanted to stay on top of the latest trends and techniques, so I signed up for multiple courses including the 3D nipple, areola reconstruction, and micro-pigmentation.
This certification is very dear to my heart because I would be able to make a difference in the lives of those women who had breast cancer and had to have surgery.
Areola tattoo provides the finishing touch after the mastectomy. Patients feel like this form of tattoo helps them during the last part of recovery to look and feel complete again.

Providing happiness and making everyone in my studio feel special and beautiful. I love being creative with my craft and feel in my own way that I am changing the lives of my clients by bringing them joy and confidence with every visit!
